The Greatest Game, an initiative to encourage Thoroughbred ownership, will sponsor the Friday edition CNBC's "Squawk Box" when the show is broadcast live from Saratoga Race Course leading up to the Aug. 23 Travers Stakes (gr. I). The show airs on CNBC weekdays from 7-10 a.m.
The show will feature guests New York Racing Association chairman Barry Schwartz, NetJets chairman and horse owner Richard Santulli, and Washington
Post horse racing columnist Andy Beyer.
"The Greatest Game is excited to present our sport at a beautiful setting such as Saratoga to the viewers of CNBC," said Dan Metzger, president of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association. "This is a wonderful opportunity for the financial community to witness out business up close and to learn more about the thrills of Thoroughbred ownership."
