The last opportunity to be included in a random drawing for tickets to this year's Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, Texas, is Friday. Ticket applications have been accepted since late January and more than 40,000 seats have already been requested.
The 21st Breeders' Cup will be held Saturday, Oct. 30.
To accommodate interest in the 2004 Breeders' Cup - the first time the event will be held in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and the Southwest - plans call for installation of temporary seating to accommodate an approximate crowd of 50,000.
Tickets available to the general public range from $25.00 to $125.00.
All applications must be received at Lone Star Park no later than Friday to be included in a random drawing that will determine the order in which applications will be processed.
Applications received after the deadline will be handled on a first come, first served basis, dependent upon seating availability. Tickets are limited to six per household.
