A field of eight horses, including grade I winners Peeping Tom and Valid Video, has been drawn for the $200,000 James B. Moseley Breeders' Cup Handicap on the MassCap undercard.
Peeping Tom, who won last year's race, is one of the grade I winners will take part in the six-furlong sprint. The Pat Reynolds-trained gelding reached the East Boston wire first last June with Shaun Bridgmohan aboard, but Ariel Smith gets the mount this year.
Valid Video is the other grade I winner in the field, having won the seven-furlong King's Bishop in August at Saratoga. He returns from a brief freshening.
Gators N Bears, who captured the six-furlong Maryland Breeders' Cup Handicap (gr. II) at Pimlio May 15, could be favored. Also in the field is My Cousin Matt, second in last year's Moseley to the late-charging Peeping Tom.
Pam Angevine has entered Dhaffir and Crypto Dixie, who will be ridden by local jockeys Tammi Piermarini and Winston Thompson, respectively. $200,000 James B. Moseley Breeders' Cup Handicap, 3 & up, 6 furlongs
