Frank Stronach's Adena Springs announced that grade I turf winner Explosive Red will be relocated to Adena Springs Canada near Aurora, Ontario, from Adena Springs South in Florida. Ten-year-old Explosive Red (Explodent -- Amelia Bearhart, by Bold Hour) has sired three stakes winners and is a half-brother to Chief Bearhart, who won the Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. IT) and was Canada's Horse of the Year and an Eclipse Award winner. Explosive Red will stand for $3,000 live foal in Canadian funds, down from his 2000 fee of $7,500.
