Peace Rules headed west after Haskell win.
Trainer Bobby Frankel confirmed Monday that $1-million Haskell Invitational winner Peace Rules will make his next start in the Pacific Classic at Del Mar on Aug. 24.
Combined with Milwaukee Brew, who cruised to an allowance victory at Saratoga on Sunday, Peace Rules gives Frankel a two-horse attack on the $1-million Pacific Classic.
With Peace Rules bound for the West Coast, Frankel will be represented by Empire Maker in the Aug. 23 Travers Stakes at Saratoga. Winner of the Belmont Stakes, Empire Maker returned from a layoff to finish a narrowly beaten second in Sunday's Jim Dandy Stakes (gr. II) at Saratoga.
