Two-time Santa Anita Handicap (gr. I) winner Milwaukee Brew is entered in an allowance race at Monmouth Park Sunday.

Owned by Stronach Stables, the Bobby Frankel-trained 6-year-old son of Wild Again has been out of action since taking the Big 'Cap on March 1. He spiked a fever soon after the race and was sidelined for more than two months before returning to the work tab in May. He has been stabled at Saratoga this summer.

Frankel said earlier this week that Milwaukee Brew, a winner of more than $2.7 million, is being pointed to the $1 million Pacific Classic (gr. I) at Del Mar Aug. 24.

To be ridden Sunday by Edgar Prado, Milwaukee Brew drew co-high weight of 122 pounds for the $55,000 allowance at 1 1/16 mile. Cottage, to be ridden by Jose Velez Jr., was also assigned 122 pounds.

Milwaukee Brew, who sports a 22-7-4-5 career mark, worked four furlongs at Saratoga in :49.32 Sunday. John Henry is the only other horse to win the Santa Anita Handicap more than once.
