Thunder Gulch, who was scheduled to shuttle to Coolmore Australia for the Southern Hemisphere season, might not be going. A final decision will be made at a late date.
Thunder Gulch, who stands at Ashford Stud near Versailles, Ky., sired the 2001 Horse of the Year, Point Given, and is represented by 27 other career stakes winners. The 11-year-old son of Gulch out of the Storm Bird mare Line of Thunder stood this season for $65,000.
