Central Kentucky stallion Salt Lake departed July 25 for Haras de la Pomme in Argentina to stand the Southern Hemisphere breeding season. He recently completed his stallion duties at John T.L. Jones Jr.'s Walmac International near Lexington.
Salt Lake shuttled once before to Argentina to stand the 1999 season at Haras de Vacacion. Four of his offspring from that seasonal trip are group stakes winners in Argentina this year, including group I winners Asset and Emergente.
Salt Lake (Deputy Minister -- Take Lady Anne, by Queen City Lad) has sired a total of 35 stakes winners.
