Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, both grade I, returned home to Saratoga Springs on Tuesday. The Sackatoga Stable-owned gelding, who was foaled at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds, is stabled in trainer Barclay Tagg's Saratoga barn.

"He left Belmont this morning," said Tagg's assistant Robin Smullen. "He's fine. There were no problems getting in."

Funny Cide breezed six furlongs in 1:12 4/5 over Belmont Park's main track Monday with Smullen aboard. According to Smullen, the gelding walked the shedrow prior to boarding a van to Saratoga Springs.

Funny Cide has not raced since finishing third in the June 7 Belmont Stakes (gr. I) and is scheduled to make his next start in the Aug. 3 Haskell Invitational (gr. I) at Monmouth Park.

He will follow the Haskell with a rematch with Belmont winner Empire Maker in the Aug. 23 Travers Stakes (gr. I) at Saratoga.
