Graded Winner Aly's Alley to Uruguay

Graded stakes winner Aly's Alley, who ran second in the 1998 Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I), has been purchased by Geraldo Arcos for stallion duty at the new owner's farm in Uruguay. The 7-year-old son of Alwuhush out of the Alydar mare Aly Capri is scheduled to leave Miami July 20 for Uruguay. Carlos S.E. Moore of Virginia arranged the deal.

Aly's Alley made all but his last start for his breeder, Mr. and Mrs. William A. Marquard's Eaglestone Farm. In what would be his final start, he ran unplaced at Churchill Downs June 18 for L.T.B. Inc. Aly's Alley, who won or placed in 11 stakes, earned $517,990 of his career total of $902,210 on grass. He captured six of 36 starts.
