French group winner Zamindar, a full brother to European champion Zafonic, will stand the 2001 breeding season at A. Douglas Henderson's Marablue Farm near Reddick, Fla., for a fee of $5,000 live foal.

Zamindar (Gone West -- Zaizafon, by The Minstrel) was a French group winner as a 2-year-old and was multiple group I stakes-placed at that age. A 6-year-old Mr. Prospector grandson, Zamindar was retired with $159,274 in earnings.

Owned by Khalid Abdullah's Juddmonte Farms, Zamindar formerly stood at Banstead Manor Stud, a division of Juddmonte, in England. His first foals race next year.
