Graded stakes winner Truluck has been retired from racing and will begin his stallion career at Sue Dowling's Stoneview Farm near Hempstead, Texas, for $2,500 live foal. Bred by Arthur B. Hancock III in partnership with Robert and Janice McNair, 5-year-old Truluck (Conquistador Cielo -- Michelle Mon Amour, by Best Turn) won five of 25 races and earned $411,655 for the McNair's Stonerside Stable. He captured the Salvator Mile Handicap (gr. III) and Fifth Season Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. III), and his two stakes-placings included an effort in the Jim Beam Stakes (gr, II).
