Charismatic's First Winner

Horse of the Year Charismatic's first winner, Storm Seiko, won July 12 in Japan in his second start. Bred in Kentucky by Peter Van Andel, Storm Seiko scored at five furlongs in 1:01.30 against 11 rivals. Produced from the Shadeed mare Micheline, Storm Seiko was bought for $70,000 by J.S. Company at the 2002 Keeneland September yearling sale.

Charismatic (Summer Squall--Bali Babe, by Drone) stands at the Japan Bloodhorse Breeders Association Stallion Station. He began his career at William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm near Versailles, Ky.
