OBS Catalogues More Than 1,200 Horses For August Yearling Sale

The Ocala Breeders' Sales Company has catalogued 1,276 horses for its yearling sale that will be conducted Aug. 18-21 in Central Florida. The number is down 3.5% from last year's total of 1,322, which included 88 head from a major reduction of stock by Louisiana oilman John Franks.
The select session this year is scheduled for the opening day, and it will be followed by three open sessions. Selling each day begins at 11 a.m. (EDT).
