was back out on Churchill Downs' main strip Wednesday morning. The impressive winner of the Fleur de Lis Handicap (gr. III) put in a four-furlong breeze, covering the distance in :49 seconds flat over the fast track. The July 30 Go For Wand Handicap (gr. I) at Saratoga is expected to be her next start.Excellent Meeting
was back in action at Santa Anita Wednesday, working five furlongs in :58 2/5 seconds, handily, over a fast Santa Anita track. The Bob Baffert trainee is to make her next start in the Vanity Handicap (gr. I) June25 at Hollywood Park.
Sprinters Big Jag
and Old Topper
were also on the track Wednesday morning at Santa Anita. Big Jag was timed in :37 1/5 for his three-furlong drill. The 7-year-old gelding is preparing for Hollywood Park's Triple Bend Breeders' Cup Invitational Handicap (gr. II) July 9. He finished fourth in the Metropolitan Handicap (gr. I) in his most recent start after winning the $1-million Dubai Golden Shaheen in March. Old Topper worked four furlongs in :49 3/5 seconds, handily. Old Topper finished last of six in the Los Angeles Handicap (gr. III) at Hollywood Park June 3.
