The Greatest Game, an owner-development program under the auspices of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association, has scheduled its next lottery for July 8 in Lexington.

There are 20 prospects who will be matched with consultants. The total number of consultants for the second lottery is 83.

The results of a questionnaire sent out after the first lottery, held a few months ago, show that two prospects have been successfully matched with consultants. That's good for an 11% success rate based on 18 prospects. Others expressed an interest but said they had put off their investment in Thoroughbred racing for the immediate future, TOBA reported.

The lottery will be held at Dean, Dorton & Ford at 6 p.m. in downtown Lexington.
