Churchill Pick 6 Worth Whopping $1.1 Million

One lucky $2 ticket was worth a record mammoth payoff of $1,168,136.80 in the Pick Six at Churchill Downs Wednesday.
A seven-day carryover, which resulted in an accumulated pool of more than $1.7 million, also included a $3,407 return for tickets with five winners.
The winning ticket was processed through a wagering hub in Maine and was purchased at a simulcast outlet in Idaho. According to the Maine hub, the ticket holder invested $6,720 for the various combinations in the winning Pick Six ticket.
The biggest payoff of the six races came in the eighth race, which was won by 18-1 Bim's Baby Bun and paid $38. The Pick Six race winners also included Favorite Magic ($14.80) in the fifth, I'm So Silly ($32) in the sixth, Dilechance ($17) in the seventh, and wagering favorites Halory Leigh ($7.20) in the ninth and Rowans Park ($5.60) in the tenth race.
Fans at Churchill Downs and simulcast outlets across North America pumped $1,379,667 into the Pick Six pool on Wednesday, which established a Churchill Downs record for Pick Six wagering on a single day, and drove the total Pick Six pool to a record $1,709,656.
The previous record payout in a Churchill Downs Pick Six was $417,389 on May 10, 1995. There were three winning tickets that day from a total pool of $1,655,598, which had stood as a record until Wednesday's wagering.
