The Blood-Horse Publications team earned 16 awards at the American Horse Publications annual Awards Program Saturday night in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
 
The BHP team earned five first place/General Excellence awards. TBH MarketWatch earned the General Excellence award in the Newsletter category whereas TheHorse.com edged perennial champion bloodhorse.com for first-place in the Electronic Publication category. The Horse earned first-place editorial awards in the News Reporting and Instructional Single Article categories. The Blood-Horse earned first-place in the Feature Article category for Steve Haskin's "Gallant Grooms of Meadow's Past".
 
The Blood-Horse earned Honorable Mention for the General Excellence Award in the Association Magazine (15,000 circulation and over) class and the book division earned an Honorable Mention in the Equine-Related Book category with "Old Friends".
