Under jockey Johnny Murtagh, Australian invader Choisir sprang a 25-1 upset in the Kings Stand Stakes (Eng-II) at Royal Ascot. Acclamation was a length behind in second, with Oasis Dream 1 1/2 lengths back in third. Choisir completed the five-furlong distance in :59.68.

Choisir is owned by Terry Wallace and partners and was named Australia's champion 2-year-old colt last season.

The 4-year-old son of Danehill Dancer, who is conditioned by Paul Perry, previously won the TEAC Lightening Stakes (Aus-I) at Flemington and finished third in the Oakleigh Stakes (Aus-I) at Caufiled.
