River Keen, Optic Nerve to Dutchess Views

Millionaire River Keen and graded stakes winner Optic Nerve have arrived at Michael and Debra Lischin's Dutchess Views Farm near Pine Plains, N.Y., where they will stand the 2001 breeding season. Both horses will stand for a syndicate. River Keen's fee is $5,000 live foal, and Optic Nerve will stand for $2,000.
Eight-year-old River Keen (Keen -- Immediate Impact, by Caerleon) scored major wins in the Jockey Club Gold Cup (gr. I), Woodward Stakes (gr. I), Californian Stakes (gr. II), and Bel Air Handicap (gr. II) on his way to $1,642,385 in earnings.
Seven-year-old Optic Nerve (Majestic Light -- Inreality Star, by In Reality) captured the Hill Prince Stakes (gr. IIIT) for his big win and earned a career total of $338,916.
