Jockey Emile Ramsammy, thrown when his horse Stormthebarricade fell after clipping heels with Gemini Dream in Saturday's Victoria Stakes at Woodbine, suffered a fractured cheekbone.

Ramsammy was removed from his scheduled mounts on Sunday.

Gemini Dream, ridden by Raymond Sabourin, was clearing the field going into the first turn when crossing paths with Stormthebarricade. Gemini Dream went on to win by 2 1/4 lengths, but was disqualified and placed seventh. The victory was awarded to Third Day.
