France's most important bloodstock auction saw 475 offered and 366 reported sold (77%) for 29,772,000 euros, with the median at 57,000 euros and the average rising to 81,344 euros.
The aggregate and average were the highest for four years and contrast with last year's 444 offered and 326 selling (73%) for 22,842,000 euros, with the average at 70,067 euros.
The final of the four daily sessions saw 176 in the ring, with 127 purchased for 4,960,000 euros at an average of 39,055 euros and 32,000 euros median.
A Night Shift colt brought the most with agent Paul Nataf going to 155,000 euros for the Haras du Cadran offering from the family of Zafonic.
Trainer Jean-Claude Rouget's busy sale continued when he went to 150,000 euros for a colt from the third crop of Kingsalsa.
