Foster Candidates in Sharp Churchill Works

A pair of possible contenders for Saturday's main event, the $750,000-added Stephen Foster Handicap (gr. I), turned in sizzling works on Sunday at Churchill Downs.
Charles Cella's Crafty Shaw, runner-up to Lido Palace in the Clark Handicap (gr. II) at Churchill Downs, breezed five furlongs in :59.60 for trainer Peter Vestal. It was the best of 29 works at the distance.
Glenn Hill Farm's Consistency breezed six furlongs in 1:12.60. The 4-year-old Unbridled gelding has won four of five career starts for trainer Tom Proctor, but has yet to compete in stakes company.
