Black Sam Bellamy Sold to German Stud Farm

Black Sam Bellamy, who won the Tattersalls Gold Cup (Ire-I) on May 25, has been sold by Michael Tabor and Susan Magnier to the German stud operation Gestut Farhof, owned by Andreas Jacobs.
The 4-year-old colt, by Sadler's Wells--Urban Sea, by Miswaki, is a full brother to European champion Galileo.
The French Bloodstock Agency of Jean-Pierre Deroubaix was involved in the deal to purchase the horse prior to his eight-length triumph in the Gold Cup Gr1 at the Curragh.
The horse will stay in training with Aidan O'Brien and will continue to run carrying Michael Tabor ' s silks, his next target being the Vodaphone Coronation Cup (Eng-I) on June 6th.
Black Sam Bellamy won the Gran Premio del Jockey Club (It-I) Milan at three and secured Italian highweight honors.
Out of champion Urban Sea, he is also a half-brother to champion Urban Ocean and listed stakes winner Melikah.
