Author Signing Day at Colonial Downs

Colonial Downs will host "Race into Reading," a book-signing session on June 15. Six authors will be at the track to autograph copies of their latest titles.

This special Father's Day event will include Nan Mooney, author of "My Racing Heart;" Barbara Libby, the author and illustrator of "I Rode The Red Horse;" Tim Capps, who has penned three titles in the Thoroughbred Legends series -- Secretariat, Seattle Slew, and Affirmed-Alydar; John Jaffe, actually a twist of names and talent between veteran novelist, Jody Jaffe and her husband John Muncie.Their new release, "Thief of Words," Jerry Radford, who wrote "Follow the Money;" and Jan Neuharth, with her new hunt country mystery, "The Hunt."

The authors will be available trackside at Colonial Downs from 12:30-3 p.m. Racing fans that present a library card at the turnstile area will receive free general admission as part of the "Race Into Reading" promotion.
