(from Churchill Downs notes)Trainer Ken McPeek said the odds on Select Stable's Take Charge Lady's participation in the $300,000-added Fleur de Lis (gr. II) on June 14 are improving as she recovers from a bruised foot and a resulting abscess.
"We've had a good last two days," he said. "If I can work her on Sunday, I think she'll run. But I'll have to get her to the race on two works."
The injury knocked the 4-year-old filly out of the Louisville Breeders' Cup (gr. II) on Kentucky Oaks Day.
McPeek said that Minister's Baby, runner-up to So Much More in a
Sunday allowance, would be pointed toward the Fleur de Lis.
