TRRN to Sponsor Oklahoma Classic

(Edited press release)

The Oklahoma Thoroughbred Association has announced that the Thoroughbred Racing Radio Network will be the sponsor of the $100,000 Oklahoma Classics Classic race for 2007.
The Oklahoma Classics is a series of races each year for Oklahoma-bred horses nominated to the program and eligible for life. The eight stakes races will be run at Remington Park Racing Casino Sept. 29. The races will carry a purse structure of $500,000, with an additional $109,300 in breeders' awards for mares and stallions from the Oklahoma-bred program.
“It is great positive step for our program to develop a working relationship with a national group of this type," said Ran Leonard, president of the O.T.A. "We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship.”

John Perrotta, executive producer of TRRN, stated, "The Thoroughbred Racing Radio Network and crew on At the Races and Beyond is delighted to become a sponsor of the 2007 Oklahoma Classics. We look forward to helping the Oklahoma Thoroughbred Association promote this event for many years to come."
In addition to the Thoroughbred Racing Radio Network, some of the other sponsors of races that night will be the Cherokee Casino & Resort, Remington Park Racing Casino, and the Thoroughbred Racing Association of Oklahoma.
