Mystic Lips led at every post and finished up superbly for jockey Andreas Helfenbein to win the Henkel Preis der Diana (German Oaks) (Ger-I) by five lengths on a soft course at Dusseldorf Sunday.

Trainer Andreas Lowe registered his fourth German fillies' classic win in seven years, this time with a daughter of Generous.

“I was confident of a good performance and Andreas Helfenbein rode a great race,” Lowe told Racing Post. “Mystic Lips is entered in two group races at Hamburg but will probably be rested. Then we'll look for a race abroad. On today's evidence, she goes on any ground.”

Dominante rallied for second under Mickey Fenton to finish second over Avanti Polonia by a half length without threatening the winner.

Miramare, who would have been favored, was withdrawn after misbehaving repeatedly at the gate. Scoubidou, instead, went off as the pick, but she faded to fourth in the final furlong.

The running time was 1:26.31 for the 1 3/8-mile test.
