Macho Uno  , the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (gr. I) winner in 2000, sired his first winner with his initial starter when Swifty Victress won the ninth race at Evangeline Downs Friday night.

Making her second career start, the gray filly out of Caught Fire, by Lite the Fuse, took a five-furlong trial for the $150,000 D. S. Shine Futurity by 6 1/2 lengths, leading at every call.

Bred in Louisiana by L. P. Cormier, Swifty Victress sold at the Evangeline March Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training to Tony Agilar, who trains her for owner A. Philip Henderson.

Macho Uno (Holy Bull--Primal Force, by Blushing Groom), a lifetime earner of $1,851,803 when he was retired in 2003, won three of four starts as a 2-year-old in 2000. A half brother to Awesome Again  , Macho Uno stands for $12,500 at Adena Springs South in Williston, Fla.
