Thoroughbred advertising veteran Jim Cox has been named head of marketing for Darley America.
Cox was previously the director of advertising and research for Blood-Horse Publications, a position he held for almost ten years.
“Jim’s experience and skills match perfectly with the growth and changes that we are experiencing here at Darley,” said Dan Pride, Darley America's chief operating officer.
“His knowledge of the Thoroughbred industry, as well as his experience in advertising and marketing in both print and digital media, will provide immediate and meaningful contributions to our company. We are excited to have him on board.”
Cox has more than 25 years of experience in the Thoroughbred and advertising industries, including positions at Thoroughbred Times, Fasig-Tipton Co., and Thoroughbred of California magazine.
