New Auction Planned For Saratoga

Veteran horseman Jeffrey T. Minton and his company, J.T. Minton Auctions, will conduct a new Thoroughbred sale this fall in Saratoga Springs, N. Y. The auction will be held Oct. 11 and will offer mixed stock.

Other key members of the sale's staff will be Ted Waite, general sales manager; Dr. Mitch Byrd, who will serve as the veterinary adviser and will operate the repository, and Richard Engle, legal counsel.

"We have had a tremendous initial response and all of us involved are very excited by this new venture," Minton said.

A press release issued by Minton said he felt that "the time is right for another sales outlet in the state."
