Malibu Moon's first winner is his son, Perfect Moon, who won May 14 at 4 1/2 furlongs in :52.12 at Hollywood Park. Bred by Mr. and Mrs. Hugh J. O'Donovan, Perfect Moon races for Annabelle Stute and The Hat Ranch. Malibu Moon (A.P. Indy -- Macoumba, by Mr. Prospector) stands at the Pons family's Country Life Farm near Bel Air, Md.
