Grade I winner Sligo Bay was represented by his first stakes winner Oct. 11, when Craig Singer's Wind In My Wings took the $150,000 JPMorgan Chase Jessamine Stakes at Keeneland for trainer Reade Baker.

Wind In My Wings was bred in Canada by Adena Springs, and sold for $100,000 at this year’s Adena sale of 2-year-olds in training. She is the first foal from her dam, stakes winner Sly Butterfly, who will be sold at the upcoming Keeneland November breeding stock sale as part of the Adena Springs reduction of breeding stock.

Sligo Bay, out of the Halo mare Angelic Song, was a grade I performer in Europe and the U.S., winning the Hollywood Turf Cup (gr. IT) in 2002. He is from the immediate family of top sires Saint Ballado, Rahy, Singspiel, and Devil’s Bag. He has sired 73 named foals of 2007, with seven winners and earnings of nearly $300,000. He stands at Frank Stronach's Adena Springs South in Williston, Fla., where his fee for 2007 was $7,500.
