Bill Klussman, 71, died May 5 after a lengthy illness. Klussman and his wife, Pat, owned Oakbrook Farm in California, and bred horses in Kentucky and California for over 30 years. Oakbrook's big horse over the years was Northern Emerald, who won the 1995 Flower Bowl Invitational (gr. IT) and Vineland (gr. IIIT) handicaps.
Klussman, who was involved in building single family homes throughout Southern California, is survived by his wife and three daughters. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wellness Community, 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village, Calif., 91361.
