A 2-year-old full brother to grade I winner Forestry died in March after becoming cast in his stall at an undisclosed farm and breaking his leg. The unnamed son of Storm Cat was a $3.8-million buy-back at the 2002 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga select yearling sale.

Frank Taylor of Taylor Made Farm in Kentucky confirmed the death on May 8, but declined to identify the colt's owner or provide further information. Bred in Kentucky by Robert Evans, the colt was produced from grade II winner Shared Interest (by Pleasant Colony) and was a half-brother to 1999 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I) winner Cash Run.

Taylor Made stands Forestry and its sales agency consigned the stallion's full brother to the Saratoga sale.
