Former Jonabell Manager Preston Clayton Curd Dead

Preston Clayton Curd, a former manager of Jonabell Farm who worked for the Bell family's historic Lexington nursery for more than 30 years, died May 2 at the age of 86. An Army veteran of World War II, Curd was employed by Jonabell from 1957 until his retirement in 1991. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, May 7, at W. R. Milward Mortuary – Southland in Lexington. Memorial gifts: Southland Elkhorn Christian Church.
