Mari's Sheba, whose first foal is multiple grade I winner Congaree, produced a filly by Thunder Gulch April 25 at Robert and Janice McNair's Stonerside Stable near Paris, Ky. Mari's Sheba, by Mari's Book, is booked to Seeking the Gold. Stonerside acquired Mari's Sheba as a maiden mare just off the track in February of 1997 as part of the stable's purchase of the Elmendorf broodmare band. Mari's Sheba's dam, Sheba Little, also joined the Stonerside broodmare band through that purchase. Barren for 2003, Sheba Little is currently in foal to Deputy Commander.
