A Rory's Jester colt brought the top price of Aus$65,000 at William Inglis & Son's San Miguel sires' produce yearling sale Sunday. Produced from the stakes winning Twig Moss mare Angellen, he was purchased by G. Alati from Tyreel Thoroughbred Stud, agent.
In all, 102 horses were sold for a gross of Aus$2,194,500 and an average of Aus$21,515.
"The limited number of select horses on offer was well received with buyers, who were quick to recognize the well-presented yearlings," said Reg Inglis, the managing director of William Inglis & Son. "There were obviously orders to fill with spirited bidding throughout the day."
