In all, 102 horses were sold for a gross of Aus$2,194,500 and an average of Aus$21,515.

"The limited number of select horses on offer was well received with buyers, who were quick to recognize the well-presented yearlings," said Reg Inglis, the managing director of William Inglis & Son. "There were obviously orders to fill with spirited bidding throughout the day."
