Edited release from Woodbine
All it took was one morning work for jockey Chantal Sutherland to get good measure of the talents Boston Common brings to the racetrack.

It wouldn't come as a shock if Sutherland, last year's top apprentice rider in Canada, had Saturday, April 26, circled on her calendar. Ask the 27-year-old for her thoughts on four-year-old Boston Common and the rave reviews seem to never end.

"He's definitely nice," said Sutherland, of the Kentucky-bred, who'll make his Woodbine debut in Saturday's $164,700 Vigil Stakes. "He's very professional in his works and I'm very impressed."

Owned by Richard Englander, the son of Boston Harbor has not started since finishing 13th in the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Mile at Arlington Park in October. He has 15 top-three finishes in 19 lifetime starts and $361,427 in earnings.

Also in the field is Wake At Noon, Canada's Horse of the Year in 2002.

The field in post position order with jockey and trainer:
1. Shaws Creek, Constant Montpellier, John Ross
2. Krz Ruckus, Dino Luciani, Mike DePaulo
3. Wake At Noon, Emile Ramsammy, Abraham Katryan
4. Cheap Talk, Robert Tiller, Patrick Husbands
5. Davids Expectation, James McKnight, Mark Casse
6. Forever Grand, Todd Kabel, Robert Tiller
7. Boston Common, Chantal Sutherland, Mike Wright Jr.
