Eric Hamelback, who has been with Frank Stronach’s Adena Springs twice during his career, has been named general manager of the Kentucky property.
Stronach owns a large farm near Paris, Ky. The farm was formerly near Versailles, Ky., but relocated last year.
Stronach also owns farms in Ocala, Fla., and Ontario, Canada.
"I am very pleased to welcome Eric as general manager of Adena Springs," Stronach said in a release. "I am confident that Eric's experience and commitment to the Adena philosophy will allow him to guide our farm successfully into the future."
Hamelback started his career with Adena Springs in 1986 as yearling manager and assistant farm manager before becoming general manager at Live Oak Stud. Here rejoined Adena in 2005 as assistant manager at Adena Springs’s Florida division.
Adena Springs has been the Eclipse Award winning breeder the past four years.
