American One-Thousand Guineas winner Much Obliged seeks her first graded stakes win in the Boiling Springs Stakes.

Nine 3-year-old fillies in search of their first graded stakes win are set to square off June 28 in the $150,000 Boiling Springs Stakes (gr. IIIT) at Monmouth Park in New Jersey.

The Boiling Springs, at 1 1/16 miles on the turf, attracted Pin Oak Stables’ Much Obliged, winner of the inaugural American One-Thousand Guineas at Arlington Park May 24, and Lael Stables’ My Princess Jenna, never worse than second in five career starts.

Chris Emigh, aboard at Arlington, is named to ride Much Obliged, a Kentucky homebred daughter of Kingmambo out of the Strawberry Road mare Danka.

My Princess Jenna, trained by Barclay Tagg and to be ridden by Joe Bravo, won the Gaviola Stakes on the grass at Belmont Park in her last start May 8. My Princess Jess, a Florida-bred by Stormy Atlantic  out of the Pleasant Colony mare Jewell of Jewels, has been training forwardly at Belmont in advance of her start in the Boiling Springs.

Morris Bailey’s Saki to Me, winner of the off-the-turf Little Silver Stakes at Monmouth in her last start May 31, is has four wins in six starts thus far and will make her turf debut. Stanley Hough trains and Stewart Elliott is named to ride.
