Domestic Dispute To Go In Coolmore Lexington
Trainer Bob Baffert, speaking from his Santa Anita headquarters, indicated that Gary Garber's Domestic Dispute will start in Saturday's $325,000 Coolmore Lexington Stakes (gr. II) to be run on Saturday, April 19.

"We're gonna take one final shot at the Derby," Baffert said. "With Midas Eyes out, it makes it more appealing."

Jerry Bailey, who became available for the Coolmore Lexington when Edmund Gann's Midas Eyes missed a workout in California due to inclement weather, will have the call on the lanky son of Unbridled's Song.

"We had a couple of other trainers approach us to ride their horses in the Lexington when they found out Bobby Frankel was going to run Midas Eyes in the Derby Trial," said Bailey's agent Ron Anderson. "But we are going to stick with Domestic Dispute."

Ten Most Wanted Drills For Derby At Keeneland
Trainer Wally Dollase sent Illinois Derby (gr. II) winner Ten Most Wanted, owned by Chisholm, Horizon Stable and Jarvis et al, out for a half-mile spin on Keeneland's main track Wednesday morning.

"I caught him in :48 2/5," said Keeneland clocker Tom Bridges. "It wasn't the fastest work of the morning, but I liked the way he did it. He was really going well at the wire."

The Dollase camp was ecstatic. "We are tickled to death," said Cincy Dollase, Wally's wife. "He did it nice and relaxed which is just what Wally wanted. We are sticking with Plan A."
