Siberian Summer to Special T

Grade I winner Siberian Summer will stand the 2001 breeding season at Rick Taylor's Special T Thoroughbreds near Temecula, Calif. The 11-year-old stallion (Siberian Express -- Mia Karina, by Icecapade) is owned by Michael Power and will stand for $3,000 live foal.
Power also announced that graded stakes winners Compelling Sound and Scherando have found new homes for the 2001 breeding season. Twelve-year-old Compelling Sound (Seattle Slew -- Cheyenne Birdsong, by Restless Wind) will stand for a syndicate for $3,000 live foal at Jack Hoover's Circle H Ranch near Murrieta, Calif. He has sired two stakes winners.
Eleven-year-old Scherando (Dimaggio -- Vanilla Nose, by Kinsman Hope) will hold court at Joe Daehling's Daehling Ranch near Elk Grove, Calif. He is owned by a partnership and will stand for $1,000.
