Eclipse Award winner Rhythm, whose daughter Ethereal was Australia's champion stayer, is scheduled to commute on the shuttle again after an absence of four years. The Mr. Prospector 16-year-old son of out the Northern Dancer mare Dance Number will head to the Australian stud, Baerami Thoroughbreds, in New South Wales.

A Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I) winner and champion that 1989 season, Rhythm last shuttled in 1999, that year closing out a 4-year sojourn at Cambridge Stud in New Zealand. At that time, Rhythm was on the roster at Coolmore's Ashford Stud, located near Versailles, Ky. He had returned to the U.S. in 1996, four years after starting out at Arrow Stud in Japan.

Rhythm was sold after the 1999 season and relocated to Dave Ferguson's Diamond F Ranch near Grass Valley, Calif., where he currently stands.

Rhythm's invitation to return south comes on the back of his strong showing in Australasia, particularly by his daughters. Led by Ethereal, the Rhythm distaffers also include Tapildo and Purple Groove. Rhythm's worldwide earnings are more than $29 million (U.S. funds).
