The half-hour show chronicles racing's most celebrated and defining events from 2008, including Big Brown's attempt at becoming's racing's first Triple Crown winner in 30 years. In addition, "Inside Information" will also highlight reigning Horse of the Year Curlin's spectacular, globe-trotting march to the record books as North America's richest Thoroughbred of all-time, with earnings topping $10 million.
Zenyatta stamped herself as a Horse of the Year candidate, and her brilliance will also showcased, including her conquest in the Breeders' Cup Ladies Classic (gr. I) at Santa Anita.
The yearly wrap-up also remembers Eight Belles' second-place finish against the colts in Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), and the subsequent catastrophic, fatal injuries she suffered moments after her gutsy attempt.
Though it may not have garnered full-blown attention among the general racing public, “Inside Information” also documents Peppers Pride establishing a North American record for consecutive wins when she won her 17th straight race in October.
