Well-known horseman Colm Santry
has resigned his position as Vinery Australia's bloodstock manager and will take up duties with Coolmore Australia at its Hunter Valley Stud in May. Santry will continue in his role with Vinery throughout the forthcoming Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale. Santry, who is an accomplished amateur jockey and keen eventer with horses including four time group I winner Juggler, began his bloodstock career with Coolmore, working at Ashford Stud in Kentucky and at Coolmore Ireland, where he worked alongside Sadler's Wells (USA) for two years. "I've been in the horse industry all my life, four generations of family have, and my first real job was with Sir Tristan Antico at Baramul as in the early 1990s," said Santry.
