British horse owner Robert Sangster has reportedly scored a major sponsorship agreement for horses trained by John Gosden at Manton and raced under the Swettenham Stud banner. According to the Racing Post, Sangster's sons, Ben and Guy, put together the three-year, £500,000 (about US$722,850) deal with TS.com, an online ticket and leisure booking service.

In exchange for the sponsorship, the TS.com logo will appear on the jockeys' silks, horses' rugs, and the stable lads' clothing for Swettenham horses racing in the United Kingdom. TS.com will also get to name three Swettenham 2-year-olds each year.

"I am extremely pleased to have finalized the deal with TS.com, who have a lot to offer the racing industry, through their knowledge of the Internet," Sangster was quoted by the Post. Swettenham will have about 50 horses in training next year, with Sangster saying he has 14 progeny of Sadlers Wells and two Mr. Prospector offspring among his foals and yearlings of 2000.

"We are all extremely excited about getting involved with such a successful team," said TS.com founder and managing director Matthew Hare. "Horse racing is a perfect market for us and provides an excellent platform for us to raise awareness of out product to a broad range of event organizers."
