(from NYRA release)
Team Valor Stables' Colita will not run in the Wood Memorial,
according to trainer Carlos Morales. The beaten favorite in Tampa's Sam Davis and Aqueduct's Gotham (gr. III) will now be pointed to the Federico Tesio at Pimlico on April 19.

"We're hoping to make the Tesio," Morales explained. "It all
depends how he's doing. He was a little sore behind Thursday after a two-minute lick. It's nothing to be worried about, just something that will force him to miss a breeze. It looks like he's doing better now."

Morales said he wants to breeze the son of Grindstone next weekend before making a final decision on the Tesio.

Colita is 2-for-5 lifetime with both victories coming over the Aqueduct inner track.
