Donnie Snellings has been hired as yearling and sales manager at Denali Stud after holding a similar position as Mill Ridge Farm for over 20 years. He will take over the position March 1.
“Donnie is highly regarded in the Central Kentucky community as an excellent horseman and he is considered one of the best in the field. He has raised and prepared many high priced sales yearlings including a $9,700,000 Keeneland yearling and many prominent racehorses during his tenure at Mill Ridge and we are excited to have him join us," said Denali Stud owner Craig Banoroff. "He will be a strong addition to our team. I have known Donnie and his father for many years and comes with high recommendations from professionals that have worked with him over the years.”
Bandoroff also announced that Theresa Rhodus, who has been with Denali 15 years, has been promoted to assistant farm manager. She will assist farm manager Gary Busch.
