Champion Flanders and millionaire My Flag each foaled an A.P. Indy colt in Central Kentucky in late March. Flanders' colt, bred by William T. Young's Overbrook Farm and foaled March 29, is a half-brother to champion Surfside, who is by A.P. Indy's sire, Seattle Slew.

My Flag, who resides at the Hancock family's Claiborne Farm near Paris, Ky., produced a half-brother to 2002 Eclipse Award winner Storm Flag Flying for Phipps Stable the following day. My Flag and Flanders are booked back to A.P. Indy. Surfside, who is kept at Overbrook near Lexington and is barren for this year, has been bred to Broad Brush.
